JB Hunt Transport Orientation Process

The 4 days Orientation sessions are held weekly in multiple service centers across the country. Once drivers arrive at J.B. Hunt’s truck driver orientation, they participate in a road-driving test, DOT physical, and both urine and hair drug screenings (all at the company’s expense).  Lease-purchase drivers receive $75 per day for completing class, payable on their first settlement. Owner operators also get $75 per day (per truck) for completing orientation plus a cent per mile rate for bobtailing from home to terminal.
